About this pack

Spend a page or four with each friend: Lunai noticing the small things on Lantern Lane, Riyu taking one of his shortcuts, Myro mapping the valley, Naeli in her garden patch, Rinwa at her workbench, tiny Pico naming every landmark and Cheddo welcoming one more friend. Each of the seven chapters opens with a portrait and three true facts about that friend.

Start with any friend. READ the facts, NOTICE the details, COLOR in your own way and DISCOVER the next friend. Every “can you find it?” line is optional, and the child chooses every color, including the friends’ own colors.

Questions

What ages is this pack for?

Children ages 6–12. The pages have large and medium areas to color, and the short facts can be read aloud by a grown-up.

How do I print it?

Open the PDF, choose A4 or US Letter and select Fit. Print single-sided. Crayons or colored pencils work on ordinary paper; place a spare sheet underneath when using markers.

How is it different from the free printables and the character pages?

The free library has one story moment from each book, and the character pages on meowelo.com introduce each friend. This pack has 28 new pages to color: a portrait and three new scenes for every friend.

Do we need to start with Lunai?

No. Each friend has their own four-page chapter, so you can start with any friend and print only the pages you want.
