Cheddo's Little Basket

Cheddo's basket becomes a tiny collection of village discoveries.

The story moment

Cheddo's basket was meant for apples. Along the village lane, he found a feather, a round button and a leaf shaped like a mitten. Naeli watched him arrange them on a bench. Cheddo put everything back, leaving one empty space. He looked down the lane. The basket wasn't quite finished yet.

What curious thing could fit in the empty space?

You don’t have to answer.

Read the story moment aloud if your child wants, then look at the picture together before coloring: who is there, what is happening, what is hiding near the edge. Every question is optional, and your child chooses every color.

About the book

Printing

Print single-sided on A4 or US Letter paper and choose “Fit”, centered. Each page is a square design with its own white margin, so there is nothing to trim. Crayons and colored pencils work well. Using markers? Place a spare sheet underneath.
