Myro's Unfinished Map

An empty corner on Myro's map makes room for a place he has just found.

The story moment

Myro spread his map on a smooth stump. The lower corner was still empty. Beyond the stream, Riyu spotted a stone arch with a fern beside it. Myro looked at the arch, then at the blank paper. He drew one small curve. There was room for this place, and room for whatever came after it.

What might belong in the empty corner?

You don’t have to answer.

Read the story moment aloud if your child wants, then look at the picture together before coloring: who is there, what is happening, what is hiding near the edge. Every question is optional, and your child chooses every color.

About the book

Printing

Print single-sided on A4 or US Letter paper and choose “Fit”, centered. Each page is a square design with its own white margin, so there is nothing to trim. Crayons and colored pencils work well. Using markers? Place a spare sheet underneath.
