Soft pencil grips can help some children find a comfortable hold for coloring and writing. What they do, signs a child might like one, how to introduce it without fuss, and when to talk to a teacher or therapist instead.
Broken leads and jammed sharpeners are the most common colored-pencil complaint. Why points snap, how to sharpen so they don't, and what to look for in a sharpener a child can use on their own.
